🐾 What Is a CDC-Registered Facility?

A CDC-registered Animal Care Facility (ACF) is a federally designated location authorized to receive dogs from rabies-risk countries under strict health and safety regulations. We:

Provide secure, species-specific quarantine for 10-day observation
Work directly with U.S. Customs, CDC, and DAFF to ensure lawful entry
Maintain detailed vaccination, ID, and import compliance documentation
Host USDA-accredited veterinarians on site

Facility Location

Our CDC-registered Animal Care Facility is located on-site at a licensed veterinary clinic in Seattle, providing integrated access to medical oversight and USDA-accredited care. Quarantine intake is handled in a dedicated, secured wing of the property, designed specifically for rabies-risk country arrivals.

🔐 Access to our facility is restricted and granted only via gated entry, with both pedestrian and vehicle access points controlled to protect the safety and privacy of our clients and animals. Our recent upgrades ensure that every intake follows CDC and USDA protocols from gate to quarantine suite.

This setup reflects a close partnership with the veterinary team, who support our intake process with direct exam access, endorsement scheduling, and on-site care.
